According to The Mirror Everton are ready to bid for Stoke City star Jack Butland.
The England international has been in wonderful form between the sticks for Mark Hughes’ men and is attracting interest from some top clubs; Everton being one of them.
Liverpool have also been touted with a move for the shot-stopper as Butland has been branded with a price tag of £17m if a move were to surface in January or next summer. However, if he continues his early season form, he could cost much, much more at the end of the season.

Everton are keen on bringing in a new goalkeeper following some uneasy showings from current number one Tim Howard, who has come under a lot of criticism from the Goodison faithful.
Butland would surely be a big improvement on the USA international and could potentially help to push Everton on a stage and allow them to break into the Premier League’s top table.
