Everton are set to sign forward Shani Tarashaj from Swiss side Grasshoppers, according to Daniel Taylor of The Guardian.
According to the report, the Toffees have offered the a four-and-a-half year contract, but will loan him back to Grasshoppers for the remainder of the current season, and he’ll travel to Merseyside in the summer.
The 20-year-old’s representatives have been in Liverpool over the last few days to discuss terms, and it looks like an agreement has been made.

Grasshoppers usually deploy Tarashaj in a ‘second striker’ role, and he has done well in that position, scoring nine goals in 20 games in all competitions for the Swiss side.
Anyone who watched the game between England U21s and Switzerland U21s last month will have noticed the youngster, as he got the Swiss goal in a 3-1 defeat.
The 20-year-old has not yet received a full international call up by Switzerland, and he could still choose to play for Albania instead due to the nationality of his parents.
