Everton are interested in signing Spanish goalkeeper Diego Lopez according to reports from Italy.
AC Milan have recently promoted youngster Gianluigi Donnarumma to the first team, leaving Lopez sitting on the bench, but the 34-year-old is still keen to play regularly.
Lopez started the season as the Milan number one but after some less-than-stellar efforts he was dropped for the 16-year-old.

Everton fans have been critical of Tim Howard this season and the news of a potential new number one will be welcome to the majority of Evertonians.
However, if they do wish to sign the former Real Madrid man, Everton will apparently face competition from fellow Premier League side Bournemouth who are looking to replace Artur Boruc, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
Lopez has a wealth of experience after spells at Villarreal and Sevilla as well as Real Madrid, and would certainly provide competition for Howard as Roberto Martinez seems reluctant to promote Joel Robles.
