After a dramatic ending to Everton’s last game, we are back again this weekend and this time, it is Swansea who stand in the Blues way.
Last week it was predicted by Football Manager that Chelsea would comfortably beat the Blues 2-0, which couldn’t have been further from the actual scoreline. The Merseysider’s went 3-2 up in the 90th minute only for John Terry to score in the 98th minute.
This week Everton face the Swans in an important game that could see them shoot up into the top half of the table.
Fortunately for the Blues, that is exactly what the popular simulation game predicts. Everton managed to win 3-2 in a thriller of a first half which produced all five goals, courtesy of Ross Barkley, Federico Fernandez, Kevin Mirallas, Bafetimbi Gomis and Romelu Lukaku.

Fernandez picked up the man of the match award in the game which Football Manager described Everton as ‘in control’ throughout.
It may have been a hard-earned three points but if it were to be similar in the game on Saturday, Evertonians would be happy as long as the three points stayed in Merseyside.

With important cup games against Manchester City and Carlisle after Swansea, it is likely that changes could be made regarding the team, but it is imperative for the Blues to pick up points in the league where they have not been as impressive as in cup competitions.
With only one prediction right this season, only time will tell if Football Manager 2016 will be able to correctly predict the scoreline!
