Everton were beaten yet again at home, this time at the hands of Swansea City who won 2-1.
May I add that the Swans have not won at Goodison in the league, ever. Yeah, you heard that right and is it really a surprise. Schoolboy error in defence for Swansea’s first goal, Stones passing back to Howard who takes Andre Ayew down, Gylfi Sigurðsson converting.
Everton then replied with Gareth Barry who flicked on a corner into the bottom corner, albeit with a deflection. Ayew then scored himself through a deflected shot off John Stones.
It just is not good enough for the Blues, pathetic defending coupled with little desire just isn’t good enough for an Everton side.
