Everton are looking to make a move to sign Mainz 05 goalkeeper Loris Karius in the summer, according to a report by Mel Henderson of The Sunday People.
The 22-year-old has played in every one of Mainz’s Bundesliga matches this season, keeping seven clean sheets in 30 games, conceding 39 times.
With Tim Howard set to leave the club for MLS outfit Colorado Rapids in the summer, the Blues need to bring a new ‘keeper and have been linked with a number of potential new shot-stoppers, including Karius, Chelsea’s Asmir Begovic and Ajax’s Jasper Cillessen.

According to the report, Everton scout Gary Penrice has watched the young goalkeeper on numerous occasions and the Blues are set to make a bid for him in the off-season.
Karius is no stranger to living in England having spent time with Manchester City’s academy before he joined Mainz and would cost Everton around £10million if they do decide to try to take him to Goodison Park.
