Dynamo Kiev president Ihor Surkis has explained that he will not stop Andriy Yarmolenko from leaving the club this summer.
Everton have attempted to sign the Ukranian on several occasions over the past year but Surkis was reluctant to let his star player move while the club remained in the Champions League. Kiev were knocked out back in March by Manchester City, with Roberto Martinez personally scouting the winger during the first leg at the Etihad.

Now, the Dynamo president has conceded that he must let Yarmolenko leave for the good of the players career, with Everton looking to finally push through a transfer at the end of the season. Surkis explained;
We cannot spoil the career of Andriy Yarmolenko, Aleksandar Dragovic and others who need to be let go. We can look for a replacement, but the primary task is to give a chance to young players.
The forward is thought to be available for £20million and with Everton’s new financial power under majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, the club should have no trouble in terms of financing the deal.
Although a move looks to be back on the cards, Everton must first resolve their managerial situation. There has been widespread criticism of manager Roberto Martinez and the club’s hierarchy will have a decision to make this summer on whether to relieve the Catalonian of his duties or back him for next season.
