Roberto Martinez failed to show up at Finch Farm this morning, even though he was expected to be in, according to the Daily Mail.
Tha Catalonian is under immense pressure and after his sides 3-0 loss to Sunderland last night, that pressure is mounting more and more. Everton can only finish as high as 11th but should they remain where they are in 12th, it would be their worst finish in the Premier League since 2004.
According to the Daily Mail, a club spokesman insisted that a decision on Martinez future has yet to be reached though his lack of presence has been picked up by the players which has led them to believe that his tenure at the Merseyside club is about to end.

The Toffees have been linked with several managers who could take over from the Catalonian, Frank De Boer the most concrete after the Dutch manager left Ajax just hours after Everton’s defeat to Sunderland. De Boer has expressed his desire to join a club like Everton, his agent explaining that he would ‘love’ to join the club.
Other names include Manuel Pellegrini, Mark Hughes and Ronald Koeman but at this moment in time, Frank De Boer looks the likely candidate.
Regardless, it looks as though Roberto Martinez time as Everton manager is coming to an end, with a new era under Farhad Moshiri looking positive this summer.
