Everton striker Romelu Lukaku could leave the club before this summer’s Euro 2016 competition which starts on 10th June, according to his father.
The Belgian has been looking likely to move on for most of the season and with the Toffees finishing 11th in the Premier League, it looks like Lukaku has decided that he is ready for the step up to a Champions League club.

According to the players father, Everton are demanding £65million for the powerful striker which would be the same reported fee that Barcelona paid for Luis Suarez back in 2014. That fee alone speaks volumes, showing just how much the forward has improved since making his loan move to the Merseyside club permanent for £28million.

Due to the club’s standing, it is unlikely that Lukaku will remain at the club and sources suggested previously in the season that there was a growing realisation within the club that the striker was outgrowing the club and would look to leave.
Unfortunately for the Blues, the club will have to find a fitting replacement and with Lukaku scoring 25 goals in all competitions and breaking the record amount of goals scored by an Everton player in the Premier League era, it looks to be a tall ask.
