Everton are convinced that they can convince Ronald Koeman to join the Merseyside club, offering him significantly higher wages and a large transfer budget, according to the Mirror.
The report explains that the club are ‘hopeful of a positive development’ after further talks with the Dutchman’s camp this week as Koeman returns from his end of season holiday.
The Southampton manager had dismissed links to the Toffee’s during the final week of the Premier League season, but majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri is still confident that he can land the Dutchman. It was reported this week that the club could offer Koeman £6million per season to manage the club, which would be over double what Southampton are reportedly willing to pay him (£2.5m).

Everton are also set to have talks with multiple candidates this week, with another round of talks due to take place with Unai Emery, Frank De Boer and Manuel Pellegrini all thought to be in the frame for the vacant managerial position.
Sevilla boss Emery is currently favourite to join the club after report’s that the Toffee’s are looking at the possibility of bringing the Spaniard to Merseyside.
