Everton have opened negotiations to sign Porto striker Vincent Aboubakar who would partner Romelu Lukaku next season, according to the Mail.
It was reported last week that the possibility of signing Aboubakar could hinge on the sale of Lukaku, though the Mail claim that a move for the Cameroon international would be to partner the forward with the Belgian. Lukaku has interest from several clubs in Europe such as Juventus and PSG while Manchester United and Chelsea remain interested.

Aboubakar scored 16 goals last season which has prompted interest from the Toffee’s and Premier League champions Leicester City. Everton currently have an edge over the Foxes after talks with the players representatives revealed that Aboubakar is keen to join the club and to join up with Ronald Koeman.
The Cameroonian has also scored 13 goals in 45 appearances for his country, with his most recent strike coming against France last month.
The report also explains that Oumar Niasse has failed to convince the club he is ready to partner Lukaku, while Arouna Kone is also considering an offer from China.
