Everton have opened talks with Dutch club FC Utrecht over forward Sebastien Haller, according to the Daily Mail.
The French under-21’s international is being targeted by a host of clubs across Europe and Everton are one of those understood to be keen on recruiting the youngster. Sunderland, Spurs, Crystal Palace and Ajax are all thought to be monitoring his situation, while Norwich and Swansea failed in their bid to bring him to the Premier League back in January.

The player is thought to have turned down a transfer worth £14million to the Chinese Super League but is thought to be keen on working under Ronald Koeman at Everton.
Haller has scored 35 goals in 57 appearances over two years in Utrecht, with 24 of them coming last season. with such an impressive goalscoring record, it looks as though the Toffees have made their move and will be hoping to complete a deal over the next couple of weeks to give the player time to gel with the squad. Everton open their season against Spurs at Goodison on the 13th August.
