Everton are interested in signing Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, according to the Daily Mail.
The report claims that Everton are interested in the shot-stopper to come in and replace Tim Howard, who has left the club to move back to the USA in the MLS.
Ronald Koeman – who became Everton boss earlier this summer – is actively searching for a new number one and it looks as though he has found his man in Schmeichel.

The club have already signed Maarten Stekelenburg from Fulham, but he is expected to have been signed as second choice, to compete in the cup competitions.
The Danish goalkeeper has a £20m price tag over his head and is currently in contract talks with Leicester following their incredible Premier League winning campaign last term.
Yet, he could be persuaded to ditch the Champions and join Koeman’s new Everton project. Leicester have signed Ron-Robert Zieler this summer already, which could pave the way for Schmeichel to leave.
