Everton will return with an improved offer for Swansea defender Ashley Williams, according to The Liverpool Echo.
It was rumoured over the past couple of days that a £10million bid had been rejected for the Welshman, with Swansea seeming reluctant to let their captain leave the club.

Though the Swans do not want to sell their respected central defender, they are powerless against the new financial strength of Everton who will be looking to do all they can to land their man.
Ashley is said to want a change of scenery, with the Toffees looking to give the player just that with the possibility of challenging for European football next season. After eight seasons at Swansea, it is likely the Welshman will move on shortly.
After Everton’s 0-0 draw against Manchester United for Wayne Rooney’s testimonial Ronald Koeman explained that they wanted to bring in new signings ‘as soon as possible’ but would not go into the names of players he is targeting.
