Everton have named their price for defender John Stones £50million, telling Manchester City ‘take it or leave it’, according to Sky Sports.
Pep Guardiola made John Stones one of his priority targets when moving to Manchester this summer, even going public to explain his desire to sign the Englishman.

With Farhad Moshiri now in charge of the Toffees, the club feel as though they are in no need to sell their better players. Ronald Koeman stated when he joined the club that to move forward, a club must keep hold of their star players, also explaining that he would attempt to keep hold of both Stones and Romelu Lukaku.
Now, it looks as though that the Dutchman will get his wish as City seem reluctant to meet £50million valuation with Everton standing firm. The ball is now in the Citizens court, Stones will either move for the £50million stated or will stay on Merseyside for at least another year.
