According to a report from a local Valencian radio station, Everton have opened talks with Valencia about the possibility of signing centre-back Aymen Abdennour.

The 27-year-old is apparently available for €18million, but it remains to be seen if Everton are willing to pay that amount.

Abdennour played 29 games for the La Liga side last season and they won’t be in a rush to let him go, but it looks like they would begrudgingly let him move if Everton stump up the €18million that they seemingly value him at.
The Tunisian international only joined Valencia in 2015, signing a five-year contract after his switch from Monaco, but he could be about to make a move to England.
Everton brought in Ashley Williams to replace the outgoing John Stones, but Ronald Koeman is apparently keen to bring in at least one more central defender and it looks like Abdennour is the man who he has identified.
