Everton’s dream of a move to a potential new stadium could take a step closer to becoming a reality tomorrow as the club’s major shareholder Farhad Moshiri is set to visit two potential stadium sites.

Everton have been looking to build a new stadium for over a decade with the proposed moves to the King’s Dock and Kirkby both not coming to fruition for various reasons.

Evertonians had started to take news of a new stadium with a pinch of salt but the arrival of Moshiri has given them a new sense of optimism.
The first of these sites is the Bramley Moore Dock. The site is located on Liverpool’s waterfront, roughly two miles from the city centre.
Stonebridge Cross is located in Croxteth, just off the East Lancashire Road. There are a number of developments happening in that area, but there is still enough space to fit in a new stadium, although local residents are dead set against the proposal.
