This season started off with Mason Holgate bursting through the first-team ceiling and cementing a place in both the right-back spot and Everton fans’ minds.
However, it was short-lived as Séamus Coleman came back from injury and Koeman preferred reputation over form, so he went straight back in.
Alright, that might be a bit unfair seeing as Séamus has put in some decent performances, but does he really offer that much more than Holgate?
