Everton and West Brom and will reportedly battle it out in an attempt to sign Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin for around £20million in January, according to a report from John Percy in The Telegraph.
The French international has only made two league starts this season and is looking out of favour at Old Trafford, with Jose Mourinho seemingly unwilling to give him an opportunity to prove himself.
According to the report, both Ronald Koeman and Tony Pulis want to add a defensive midfielder to their squad in January and both have identified Schneiderlin as an ideal target.

Although West Brom are keen to sign him, Everton seem to be a more likely destination for the 27-year-old, especially as he’d get a chance to reunite with his former Southampton boss there.
Everton had identified Steven N’Zonzi as a possible target but it looks like they’ve weighed things up and concluded that a move for Schneiderlin is more realistic.
They’d have to fork out around £20million to get him, but it looks like they’d be willing to do just that.
