According to The Mirror, English international Tom Cleverley is set to leave Everton in January. Although Cleverley started Everton’s draw against Manchester United at the weekend, The Mirror believe that the 27-year-old midfielder has become surplus to requirements at Goodison Park.
Tom Cleverley was brought to Goodison Park by Ronald Koeman’s predecessor Roberto Martinez and has not enjoyed a fruitful spell with The Toffee’s, in fact, it has been quite the opposite, with the former Manchester United man making a paltry 30 appearances in 2 season for Everton.

Although Cleverley has become isolated at Everton, The Mirror are reporting that there are various Premier League clubs interested in signing the midfielder.
‘Mirror Sports understands a number of clubs have been made aware that Cleverley is available.’
Evertonians may well rejoice as perhaps we could be seeing the start of Koeman’s transfer policy take place at Everton, with the Dutch manager starting the move on the deadwood from the squad and usher in players he feels can help propel Everton further up the Premier League table.
With Cleverley set to leave the side Koeman may well have replacements already in line to come in during the January transfer window.
