Everton are set to make a move for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, according to the Mirror.
The report claims that Chelsea are in talks over a deal for the forward but Everton are looking to hijack the deal and bring him to Merseyside.
Everton believe that Vardy would be open to the idea of joining the club. The lure of Europa League football this season could be a factor.
Ronald Koeman is a big admirer of the striker and thinks that he would complete his current side, after making a number of other big-name signings this summer.

The club have already smashed the transfer record multiple times this summer, with Jordan Pickford, Michael Keane and Gylfi Sigurdsson all joining for big money.
Wayne Rooney, Sandro Ramirez and Cuco Martina are among the other signings that Everton have brought in to strengthen their side.
Vardy is thought to be valued at £40m by Leicester.
