Everton have been given a big boost in their chase of Anderlecht midfielder Leander Dendoncker.
Belgian club’s director of football, Herman Van Holsbeeck, has now claimed that Dendoncker could move on in the next transfer window.
He says that Dendoncker was frustrated at not being able to leave the club during the summer transfer window, with Premier League sides Everton and Manchester United both said to be keen on the Belgian talent.
Dendoncker impressed in Europe for Anderlecht last season and was heavily tipped to make his big move this summer, but nothing materialised.
Van Holsbeeck now says that they have agreed to facilitate a future transfer for Dendoncker and offer him a pay rise to keep him happy in the meantime.

Speaking to Foot, via Sport Witness, Van Holsbeeck said this:
Dendoncker’s head was elsewhere. He showed his disappointment during training at not being transferred. His mate Tielemans went to Monaco, and he was training with the national team, and he wanted, like them, to play in the biggest leagues.
Certain people in his entourage put pressure on me, on the club or on his agent, Christophe Henrotay. Today, we’re prepared to pay him based on his status of key player and to work on his future transfer like we did for Youri. In fact, we all have an interest in working together.
This means that Everton could be given the chance to sign him when the transfer window re-opens in January.
Ronald Koeman is thought to be a big admirer of the youngster.
