Everton have been made to rue their decision to not replace Romelu Lukaku sufficiently in the summer transfer window this season.
The Toffees have been goal-shy in the opening stages of the campaign and have been relying on Oumar Niasse to provide them with quality up front. While the Senegalese striker has been playing well, Everton clearly need to land a new striker in January.
According to Tutto Udinese, they are keen for this man to be former Watford striker and Nigerian international Odion Ighalo.

Ighalo has been plying his trade in the Chinese Super League in recent times following a big-money move from the Hornets. He joined Changchun Yatai for a fee reported to be in the region of £20 million and is understood to have had his wages significantly increased.
The 28-year-old has netted 15 goals in his last 27 outings, also contributing with a total of four assists. He has also stepped up to the mark on the international stage with Nigeria.
It would undoubtedly take a lucrative offer from Everton to lure Ighalo away from China, but they are in desperate need of attacking inspiration, which could be provided by the former Watford man.
