Premier League side Everton are keeping a close eye on Besiktas defender Dusko Tosic but will face competition from Celtic for his signature, according to a report on Sport Witness, who cite Sporx.
The Serbian defender is wanted by the Merseyside club, who have reportedly made contact with the Turkish club over his availability.
Everton will face stiff competition from Scottish champions Celtic, who are also looking for reinforcements in the January window.

The 32-year-old is open to making the move away from Besiktas as he has not been given a regular starting opportunity this season.
New Everton boss Sam Allardyce always sets up his side with a strong defence and has seen improvements with his backline in recent fixtures.
However, Allardyce wants to add reinforcements in the centre-back position to ensure that he has adequate replacements if any injuries or suspensions occur before the end of the season.
Besiktas are looking to bring in a defender, which has raised doubts about Tosic’s immediate future at the club.
The decision will come down to Tosic and who he wants to play for, but after trying his luck in England with QPR, he may find Celtic a more appealing destination.
