Everton are still keen to land Lazio centre-back Stefan de Vrij, according to reports in Italy.

De Vrij has cemented himself in Simone Inzaghi’s plans and is a pivotal member of the Lazio squad that has been so impressive in Serie A so far this term.
Premier League clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester City have been heavily touted with potential moves for the powerful central defender, but it seems he is happy at Lazio.
However, Everton are in need of added defensive strength and if Corriere are to be believed, they have identified De Vrij as the ideal candidate to bolster their back line.
The Toffees’ defence has been extremely leaky this season but has improved of late following the arrival of manager Sam Allardyce.
