PSG defender Thomas Meunier has revealed that he would consider a move to Everton.
Meunier has admitted that he could aim for clubs like Everton, Valencia and Borussia Dortmund if he was to leave PSG.
The Belgian international has struggled for game time at PSG this season, with Brazil right-back Dani Alves the preferred choice for Unai Emery.
Everton have had little links to Meunier ahead of the summer transfer window, but could become alerted by talk from Meunier about his future.
Speaking to RMC, Meunier said this:
I don’t ask too much for now, what I want is to play football. If I have to go down a notch to be able to be on the pitch, I’ll do it. We will see how it goes, I have two more years in Paris, my goal is to stay in. I like it a lot, just like my family. The club did not contact me, it’s hard to predict.
I could aim at a club like Everton, Valencia or Dortmund. Michy Batshuayi did really well going there, the fun is playing football, and that’s the only thing I miss right now.
Sam Allardyce has struggled to find a consistent defence this season and Meunier could come in to help improve their backline.
