Jordan Pickford has been rewarded for his fine form at Everton by being nominated for the Premier League Player of the Month award.
The 24-year-old kept three clean sheets in four games as Everton recorded an unbeaten month for the first time this season.

The goalkeeper kept the Toffees’ first clean sheet against Liverpool since February 2015 to start the month before putting in an excellent performance against Swansea.
The Welsh club dominated most of the game and had seven shots on target, but Pickford was only beaten once as Everton held on for a 1-1 draw.

Clean sheets in victories against both Newcastle and Huddersfield mean Everton have now climbed to eighth, with Pickford putting a strong case forward to be England’s number one at this summer’s World Cup.
He faces tough competition for the award, with Christian Eriksen, Jake Livermore, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Paul Pogba, Raheem Sterling and Wilfried Zaha also nominated.
