Everton have been linked with Hirving Lozano in recent weeks following director of football Marcel Brands’ move from PSV to the Merseysiders.
The Dutch side are now warning potential suitors that the 22-year-old won’t come cheap, as per a report by the Mirror.
In April he became a client of ‘super agent’ Mino Raiola, who is notorious for being tough to negotiate with and demands a handsome fee for his services.
Brands is an admirer of the Mexican, whom he signed from Pachuca for £7.2m back in July 2017. The winger had an impressive first season in Eindhoven, scoring 19 goals and setting up 11 more in 34 appearances as PSV won the Eredivisie title.
Lozano’s price tag will have risen considerably after a stellar first season in the Eredivisie.
The winger also scored the winning goal for Mexico in a shock win against defending champions Germany in the World Cup.
Everton are eyeing up another summer overhaul, having finished a disappointing eighth last season and sacking Sam Allardyce over concerns about their style of play, replacing him with former Watford manager Marco Silva.
Fans will be hoping recruitment will be a lot better than last year, as big money signings Davy Klaassen and Michael Keane failed to impress on Merseyside.
