Everton are not interested in signing Marvin Plattenhardt from Hertha Berlin, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The report has played down suggestions that the German international could be on his way to Goodison Park after this summer’s World Cup.
Interest is expected to rise in Plattenhardt during the World Cup, but Everton are unlikely to be in the running to sign him.

Prior to Germany’s opening game at the tournament, the defender was being linked with a £16 million move.
Plattenhardt impressed in the Bundesliga last season, earning a call-up the German squad for this summer’s World Cup.
However, he could not help the German squad get over the line in their first match of the tournament, as they fell to a 1-0 defeat against Mexico.
It had been claimed that Marco Silva could be looking to upgrade on the ageing Leighton Baines.
The Toffees are yet to make a signing this summer, with Silva keen to put his own stamp on the squad.
