Everton are interested in signing Huddersfield midfielder Aaron Mooy, but they face competition from Southampton, West Ham and Manchester City.
According to a report from ESPN, several Premier League sides are keeping tabs on the Australian midfielder, who impressed for Huddersfield during their first season in the top flight.
The player’s performances both in the Premier League and the World Cup have alerted several teams.
Mooy featured in all three of Australia’s group games, but his performances were not enough to see the Socceroos progress.

Manchester City do have a buy-back clause inserted into the deal that saw Mooy join the Terriers on a permanent basis.
The Premier League champions can re-sign the player for £20 million, £10 million more than they sold him for.
Huddersfield are desperate to keep hold of the player who was a key member of their bid to stay in the top flight at the time first time of asking.
