Everton are reportedly keen to rival Lazio in their pursuit of Club Brugge forward Wesley this summer.
According to claims from Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, as cited by Calciomercato, the Toffees have joined the race to sign the promising Brazilian attacker.
Wesley played a part for Brugge as they secured the title in the Belgian top-flight last term. He chipped in with seven league goals and also contributed with two assists.

It’s stated in Calciomercato’s report that Everton have, in recent times, submitted a proposal to Club Brugge for Wesley, with the Toffees keen to accelerate their dealings this summer.
Wesley is regarded as a key player for the Belgian side, so it’s likely that potential suitors will need to stump up a considerable fee if they are to lure him away from Bruges this summer.
There is still work to be done for Everton this summer, with only one player signing for the club. Richarlison joined this week in a deal believed to be worth an initial £40 million.
