Everton and Barcelona have reached an agreement in principle over a deal for Lucas Digne, according to Catalan-based outlet Mundo Deportivo.
Negotiations have been ongoing between the two clubs for some time now but it appears as though a deal is all but done, with Digne set to join Everton for a figure of €20 million and add-ons, as per the report.
Earlier claims indicated that the deal for Digne would be worth just under £13m, but it’s claimed by the Spanish outlet that Barcelona will receive a considerable sum more than the aforementioned amount.

Digne has emerged as a top target for Everton this summer as they look to resolve their issues at left-back, with Leighton Baines now 33-years-old.
Mundo Deportivo’s report indicates that Everton will announce Digne as their players in the ‘coming days’, but it’s also stated that the club would be keen to incorporate their proposed move for Yerry Mina in the transfer.
The Toffees are keen to land the Colombian international from Barcelona and it’s stated that negotiations are ongoing between the clubs.
