Everton will offer Jordan Pickford a new and improved contract at the club, according to a report from the Times.
The goalkeeper enjoyed an impressive first season on an individual basis at Goodison Park and went on to star in England’s run to the semi-final stage of this summer’s World Cup.
Speculation has since developed since Pickford’s exploits in Russia, with Chelsea having reportedly lined the player up as a potential replacement for Thibaut Courtois, who looks set for a move to Real Madrid.

However, the Toffees are looking to tie Pickford down to a new contract on Merseyside. Despite the 24-year-old having four years remaining on his current deal with the club, Everton want to mark the ex-Sunderland’s star development by improving his terms at the club.
Pickford is set to be a key man for the Toffees in between the sticks this season as Marco Silva looks to bring success back to Goodison Park.
