Everton are in pole position to sign Barcelona defender Yerry Mina and have an agreement with the player on personal terms.
Sport Witness claim that Mina’s uncle has negotiated an agreement with Everton, and is now ‘demanding’ that Barca sit down with the club to negotiate the transfer of the defender.

However, Everton will face competition from Lyon. The Ligue 1 club are understood to have their own agreement with Mina’s uncle, and as such Barcelona may choose to allow the Colombian to leave for France instead.
A bidding war may now ensue between Everton and Lyon, but other interested party Manchester United could be out of contention.
Mina’s uncle stated the offer from Old Trafford was not ‘firm’, but it seems the door could still be open for Jose Mourinho if he was intent on securing the signing of the 6’5 colossus.
If the 23-year-old does make the move to Merseyside, he would join former Barcelona teammate Lucas Digne.
