Everton have announced that the promising young winger will spend the duration of the 2018/19 campaign playing in the top flight of Russian football with CSKA.

Following the arrival of Richarlison at Goodison Park, Vlasic’s opportunities in the first-team under Marco Silva have looked to be limited, which has prompted the club to loan him out for the season ahead.

Vlasic often showed glimpses of quality during his maiden season with the club but was used often as a sporadic option by all of Ronald Koeman, David Unsworth and Sam Allardyce.
The Toffees will be hoping that the former Hajduk Split youngster, who they recruited in a deal believed to be worth £10m, will return to Merseyside a better player for his experiences with CSKA.
