The midfielder spent last season on loan at Boro and put in some impressive performances which nearly helped them to gain promotion to the Premier League.

Boro boss Tony Pulis has been working hard to lure Besic back to the club all summer and it seems that finally, he has managed to persuade the Toffees to let him leave for another season.
The Bosnian international was at Middlesbrough’s Rockliffe Hall base last night to discuss the terms of the move and is now sorting out some final details with Everton.
The Championship club is hoping to announce the deal by the end of the week and believe that Besic can be one of their driving forces this season in their quest for promotion.
Everton boss Marco Silva isn’t keen on letting Besic leave on a permanent basis but knows that he will get valuable game time in the Championship. The deal is not yet done but it is understood to be very close to being finalised.
