Cenk Tosun is enjoying his football under new Everton manager Marco Silva, he has admitted.
In an interview with Turkish news outlet NTV Spor, the striker spoke of the different stylistic changes that Silva has made since Sam Allardyce’s dismissal, hailing the Portuguese tactician as “hungry”.
As quoted by Yeni Şafak, Tosun reflected on the business that Everton completed during the summer transfer window before insisting that Silva’s style of play is something he is enjoying.
The club has made good transfers. They’re good, they’re adapting. Our manager changed, there is a younger, hungry trainer.

He plays an offensive game. Of course, this is my business. This year we play football a little better.
Tosun has not yet found the net for Everton this season but has been a mainstay under Silva, featuring regularly following the new manager’s arrival in the summer.
The Turkey international was recruited for a sizable transfer fee in January, as he departed Besiktas. He has impressed in Everton colours since then and appears to have established himself as the club’s first-choice striker.
Tosun will hope to help Everton continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League when he returns from international duty with Turkey in two weeks.
