Former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink has heaped praise on Everton loanee Kurt Zouma.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Hiddink, who worked with Zouma after taking over from Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge, hailed the Frenchman’s ability on and off the pitch.
I did not work with him for as long as I would have wanted to… I thought so much of him.
It was not only that he had such pace and power, he was intelligent and knew how to use his qualities. Sometimes as a player, you want to give the beautiful pass but he knew his main strength, which was his power.

Zouma joined Everton hours after the transfer window had closed, with the deal dragging on into the next day.
The defender was going to find regular game time hard to come by at Stamford Bridge after spending the previous campaign at Stoke.
Zouma remains highly thought of at Stamford Bridge, but he has failed to find a way back into the first-team picture after suffering a long-term injury.
With his Chelsea future hanging in the balance, he’ll be hoping to impress at Everton in what is a new-look Toffees defence.
