Everton reportedly had scouts present to watch Porto’s meeting with Schalke in the Champions League, with the club paying close attention to Éder Militão.
Brazilian outlet UOL, as cited on Sport Witness, believe that the Toffees are interested in a deal to sign Militão, but may be forced to splash the cash in order to land him.
Militão only joined Porto from Sao Paulo in the summer, meaning the Portuguese side may take some convincing in order to sell the player so soon.
The Champions League game was not the first time Everton have scouted the player.

Sport Witness claim that Marco Silva’s men had scouts watching Porto’s game against Vitória de Setúbal, with it now emerging that it Militão was the subject of their visit.
There have been concerns over the long-term future of Seamus Coleman, who is currently sidelined with an injury.
Having only recently come from a previous long-term injury, Silva may be forced to use the winter market to strengthen at the back.
