Leicester City are confident that Jamie Vardy will be fit enough to start against Everton at the weekend.
The Mirror reports that there had been some concerns over the former England international’s fitness after he was substituted against Newcastle.
The striker was taken off after receiving treatment at St James’ Park, but the injury is not believed to be serious.
Vardy, who scored Leicester’s opening goal from the spot against Newcastle, is expected to return to training as normal ahead of the game, according to the report.

The two sides meet at the King Power on Saturday afternoon and the Foxes will be out to make it three wins from three in the league.
Everton themselves will be hoping for a positive result as they look to build some form of momentum. Marco Silva’s side have won just once in their last five Premier League outings.
