Midfielder Idrissa Gueye could miss Everton’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace after he picked up an ankle injury during Senegal’s 3-0 victory over Sudan, according to Radio City News.
The 29-year-old scored in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier but was forced to leave the field early with an ankle problem.

The Toffees are hoping that the problem isn’t serious enough to rule him out of the Palace match, but he is a doubt to recover in time.
Everton boss Marco Silva will be concerned about the fitness of the defensive midfielder, who has cemented his position in the starting lineup under the new manager.
Gueye was typically aggressive and energetic in midfield and went into a strong challenge with an opponent, where the injury appeared to happen.
The extent of the injury is not yet clear and it could merely be a slight knock. Further tests on the midfielder’s ankle are expected to be done once he returns to Merseyside.
