Everton manager Marco Silva has praised Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Ademola Lookman and Cenk Tosun after all three players inspired the Toffees to victory over Crystal Palace on Sunday.
As reported on the Belfast Telegraph, all three players were used as substitutes and had an immediate impact on the match.
Calvert-Lewin headed in the opener from a Lookman cross and Tosun added a second shortly after to secure Everton’s third consecutive league victory.

Silva was impressed with his substitutes and said:
It is football – sometimes you change and everything goes well, like (what) happened this afternoon. Other times it is not the same. We changed a little bit the formation when we brought on Dominic, and they did well.
It is important for us and me as a coach that when the three players come in, they help the team. Of course I’m happy because the three came in and helped. Cenk the last two games at home has come on and scored twice, and Lookman and Dominic are working really hard to achieve what they want.
At this moment it is hard for me, not just the starting XI, but to do the squad list. But in this way we can grow as a squad, as a club.
Earlier in the match when the score was 0-0, Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford saved a penalty to preserve their clean sheet and Silva’s decision to bring on the three players paid off.
