Everton forward Ademola Lookman is still a target for Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig, according to claims from Calciomercato.
The England Under-21 international was courted by Leipzig throughout the recent summer transfer window following his impressive loan spell at the club in the second half of last season.
Lookman struggled for game-time at Everton before completing a short-term switch to Leipzig in January. The young forward did not disappoint, as he netted five goals and chipped in with four assists for the German side.

This prompted Leipzig to pursue a permanent deal for Lookman in the summer, but their efforts proved to be of no avail as Marco Silva kept hold of the ex-Charlton Athletic striker.
However, Lookman has been used only sparingly by Silva in his first season as Everton boss, prompting yet more speculation regarding his future on Merseyside.
Calciomercato report that Leipzig are continuing to “monitor” Lookman’s progress in the Premier League as they ponder a fresh move for the versatile attacker.
