Everton are in the race to sign Emiliano Sala from FC Nantes in January, according to a report from the Daily Star on Sunday.
The Toffees have had few troubles in front of goal this season but appear to be on the lookout for fresh attacking quality as they prepare for the second half of the campaign.
Richarlison has often been utilised as a striker by Marco Silva in recent times, with Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin failing to respectively convince in the opening stages of the season.

This appears to have led Everton to identify attacking targets ahead of January, with Nantes’ Sala reportedly lined up.
The 28-year-old is currently the joint-top scorer in Ligue 1 and his tally of 11 goals is matched only by Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
Everton, however, are not the only Premier League club in the race to sign Sala, according to reports. Wolves, West Ham and Crystal Palace have all been touted as potential suitors for the player.
