Championship side Derby County are eyeing a potential move to take Everton youngster Mason Holgate on loan.
The Rams have lost defenders Craig Forsyth and Curtis Davies to long-term injuries and will be looking at defensive reinforcements in January as they continue their hunt for promotion.
The Derby Telegraph reports that the 22-year-old has been told he can temporarily leave in January, with Fulham and Sheffield United also said to be keen on the Englishman.

Despite starting four of Everton’s opening five Premier League games this season, Holgate appears to have fallen out of favour at Goodison Park.
The arrival of Yerry Mina from Barcelona has seen Holgate overlooked in the Toffees’ last nine league fixtures, despite the Colombian starting the campaign injured.
A loan move away would be favourable for the versatile defender, as he looks to get game time under his belt and keep developing as a player.
