Everton man Mason Holgate has ‘already passed’ his medical at Championship club West Brom ahead of a January loan switch, according to a report from the Mirror.
The Baggies look all but set to complete the signing of the versatile prospect when the upcoming transfer window opens.
Holgate has struggled to break into Marco Silva’s first-team plans at Goodison Park and has sought opportunities elsewhere, with West Brom evidently moving quickly to secure his signature.

The Mirror’s report indicates that the youngster’s switch to the Hawthorns will be the first confirmed deal of the New Year, with West Brom wasting no time in strengthening their squad.
Darren Moore’s men are pushing for promotion back to the Premier League and will be hoping that Holgate’s quality can give them an extra boost.
Everton are well stocked with options at the back, with the likes of Yerry Mina, Kurt Zouma and Michael Keane all ahead of the England Under-21 star in the pecking order.
