Crystal Palace have reportedly opened the bidding to sign Oumar Niasse from Everton this month.
It is claimed by Senegalese news outlet Wiw Sport that the Eagles are determined to press ahead and tie up a deal for the forward in the January transfer window.
The former Lokomotiv Moscow star has long been linked with a switch to Selhurst Park and it seems Roy Hodgson has retained an interest in signing the player.

Niasse has struggled to make an impact at Goodison Park this season and finds himself behind the likes of Richarlison, Cenk Tosun and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the pecking order of strikers at the club.
According to Wiw Sport, Palace have opened the bidding for the Senegal international and have offered Everton a sum worth €7 million.
The 28-year-old has not yet made a single start in the Premier League this season and has been forced to settle for only five top-flight appearances off the bench.
