For any regular readers of these ramblings every week, I hope beyond anything else how much I’ve driven home the point that I dislike West Ham Football United. I can’t stand them, if there are two games I’d want us to win all season, it’d be v West Ham at Goodison, and Liverpool at Goodison.
Losing to them in such embarrassing fashion earlier this year was infuriating, especially as we weren’t playing too bad at the time. As it looks like their window as a perennial relegation-battling club is over, I’ll have to accept them being a mid-table side, but for that to be remotely acceptable, we need to convincingly beat them every single year, no excuses.
I hate West Ham almost as much as I hate Everton.
In blue news, Yerry Mina has done his season in while away with Colombia, but Lucas Digne is thankfully unharmed by the horridness that is international football.
