Everton are reportedly in contact with Nice midfielder Wylan Cyprien – but could the midfielder be an ideal replacement for Idrissa Gueye?
According to Yahoo Sport France, cited by Sport Witness, the 24-year-old, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, is thought to be in contact with the Toffees.

A possible move for Cyprien could depend on whether or not current midfielder Gueye remains at Goodison Park over the summer.
The Senegal international has been tipped to join Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the new campaign after the French giants failed in a move for the holding midfielder back in January.
If Gueye does depart, a move for the talented Nice midfielder could prove to be a smart piece of business.
Both midfielders have similar qualities, with the pair known for their energetic displays, ability to break up play and no-nonsense approach in a tackle.
Cyprien is also five years youngster than Gueye, and the Toffees could potentially bring the Frenchman to Goodison Park with the funds they receive for Gueye.
However, if Everton manage to hold onto Gueye in the current window, Marco Silva may decide to bolster other areas, with a central defender and a striker thought to be high on his list.
