Several Everton fans have reacted on Twitter to Everton’s tweet about Anthony Gordon, calling on the club to give the youngster a chance this season.
The 18-year old forward has long been considered one of the brighter young talents on Merseyside, and his performances for David Unsworth’s Under-23s side are leading many to believe he could be ready for the step up.
Gordon played a key role in Everton’s Premier League 2 title victory last season, and the England Under-18 international has begun the new campaign in fine fashion, netting both goals for Everton in their 2-2 draw with Arsenal U23 on Friday.

Gordon has yet to make a first-team appearances for Everton in the league, with his only showing coming as an 88th minute substitute in Cyprus when Everton beat Apollon Limassol 3-0 in their Europa League dead rubber.
A number of fans believe that now is the time to give Gordon his shot in the first-team, with several taking to Twitter to claim the starlet is now ready.
